We weren't doing anything special by the end of the first week, so I fled. :D
Oh, I finished med school last Dec., graduated in April (freaking school took all that time to prepare the tiny ceremony), have been working towards my license ever since (only three more months to go and I can legally practice in this country. Wahey.) X_x How far along are you?
I want to go to Japan as soon as I can, because I know it'll be more difficult to find the time once I enter a residency... right now I'm just trying to not die from working :S Which reminds me, I'm going to bed now--it's 1:15a.m. here and I need to be at work at 8:00; a delicious 24-hour shift awaits me.
*Those 40-yr-olds going to cons amuse the hell out of me, but also give me hope that I never have to give this up :D
My mom hasn't the slightest idea what I do online. I don't live with her, which of course makes things easier, and when she's visiting I just have to pick my hours so she's not around. It would kill me if she saw my doujinshi folder...well, it would kill her first, but I'd die of remorse ^^;
Your mom probably means well...hopefully? :D
Honey, it's been wonderful talking to you, but I reeeeally have to go now. Hopefully we can continue later; since we've already friended each other, it shouldn't be a problem to stay in touch.
